Kitusoft is a software studio in Quito. We design, build and maintain apps and platforms for clients, and we ship our own.

Origin

A name, a bird and a line.

  • Kitu

    Kitu, or Quitu, is the original name of the city we now call Quito. There are several theories about its meaning and none is definitive; we keep the name, which is the part we know.

  • The quinde

    In Ecuador the hummingbird is called quinde. The one in our logo forms a K: precise, light and always moving.

  • Latitude 0°

    Quito sits 0°13′ south of the equator. That gold line is the one running through this whole site.

    A no-strings conversation to understand the problem, the constraints and what success means to you.

  2. Design

    A technical and UX proposal with realistic scope and timelines: we plan what we will deliver.

  3. Build

    Frequent releases you can see and test, on a codebase built to last.

  4. Care

    After launch we stay with you: monitoring, improvements and a plan to keep evolving.
