Context
Reviewing with flashcards works, but keeping the habit is hard. We wanted to bring what makes games compelling — visible progress, streaks, friendly competition — to studying, without forcing anyone to sign up.
Approach
Decks are made to measure, with your own questions, colours and icons, or imported as JSON and shared through a QR code. Every session earns XP, levels you up and keeps a daily streak. Those who want to compete create an account, add friends by username and compare scores; everyone else studies in local mode, offline, with their data only on their device.
Outcome
Noomix is live on Android and the web, from a single Flutter codebase with Firebase for sync. Local mode and in-app account deletion were part of the design from day one.
